You will continue to work on your Biomes project. Your website is due on Friday, and remember you will be graded as individuals and as a team. Since it is the end of the term, late/incomplete work cannot be considered for grading. Make sure you review the rubric early!

This week we will mostly work with fossils, and how they provide evidence for evolution. We will analyze the fossil record, and dig into the past. Are we really all related?

This week you will build your own electrical invention. Remember that I provide the batteries, wire and lights, but you must provide any other materials you need. Your working invention is due on Friday and will only be graded if accompanied by the write-up (Items 2-5 in the project page).
6th Grade: Biomes
- MS-ESS3.A: Natural Resources Humans depend on Earth’s land, ocean, atmosphere, and biosphere for many different resources. Minerals, fresh water, and biosphere resources are limited, and many are not renewable or replaceable over human lifetimes. These resources are distributed unevenly around the planet as a result of past geologic processes.
You will continue to work on your Biomes project. Your website is due on Friday, and remember you will be graded as individuals and as a team. Since it is the end of the term, late/incomplete work cannot be considered for grading. Make sure you review the rubric early!

This is the final stretch for our motion and forces unit. You will continue to work on your rollercoasters, making sure you complete all the requirements. You will have a chance to decorate your coaster and run any final trials you need before presenting your work on Friday (due date). If you are working on the alternate assignment, it is also due on Friday. Since this is the end of the term, late/incomplete work cannot be considered for grading.

Thursday April 16, AdVENTURE 7th graders will have the last professional filming. You have done such a wonderful job, and I just wanted to make sure you know that the film crew is very appreciative of all your efforts.
This week I am available Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. If you are planning on staying (until 3:30), you must have a specific Science-related issue that needs my help, and sign up on the board by lunch time.
Make sure you are completing all your work on time. Don't be caught unaware!
